Privacy notice

1. Controller

2. What we collect

Through the order form: company name, registration number, VAT number, address, country, contact person's name and work email. With the invoice we send a link to an online questionnaire; in it (together with the invoice number) we collect company-level answers: AI tools used and planned, kinds of data and systems, sector, the responsible role, and short free-text fields. We do not ask for, and ask you not to enter, staff personal data, client data or passwords. We receive no access to your systems or files. We use no cookies, analytics or trackers on this site.

3. Why we use it and the legal basis

• To prepare and send the invoice and to prepare the kit you ordered: performance of a contract or steps at your request before a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• To keep accounting records, issue invoices and handle taxes: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
• To handle disputes and refunds and keep the service secure: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).

We do not use your data for marketing and do not sell it. We make no decisions about you by automated means that would have legal effects.

4. Who receives it

Our processors, acting on our behalf: Zoho (email, which carries the invoices and the kits), Vercel (hosting, where our software runs) and Upstash (data storage, EU region), as well as our banking provider and accountant. The questionnaire answers are processed only by our own software, which builds the kit from them automatically; no artificial intelligence service receives them. Processors may be companies or groups outside the EU/EEA; we allow such transfers only with appropriate safeguards under GDPR Chapter V. More detail on request.

5. Retention

• Order and invoice data: kept as long as Latvian accounting and tax law requires (currently up to 5 years, longer where the law requires).
• Questionnaire answers: used only to prepare the kit and deleted within 30 days of delivery (if no kit is delivered, within 30 days of submission), unless you ask for earlier deletion.
• Download link: if we deliver the kit as a private download link, the link works only until the answers are deleted (30 days after delivery) and is unavailable after that; the kit files are not stored, they are prepared from the answers at the moment you download.
• Delivery emails: if the kit is attached, our copy of the email (Zoho Sent folder) is deleted after 30 days; if the kit is sent as a private link, the link stops working when your answers are deleted (30 days after delivery), so our copy of the email no longer gives access to the kit. The copy you received is yours to keep or delete.
• Orders that are never paid: deleted within 3 months.

6. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to hello@autosave.lv; we reply within one month.

7. Complaints

You may complain to the Latvian supervisory authority, the Data State Inspectorate (DVI), www.dvi.gov.lv, or to the authority in your EU country.
